The nursing assistant certification is a nationally recognized certification administered by the Korea Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute (KHILI).

✅ Overall employment process


Registration

Visit the training center after applying online

It takes 2 months to attend the training center (start of classes) (based on daytime classes)

Training period: 320 hours (240 hours of theory/practical training + 80 hours of field training)
Class hours: Daytime class (09:00 ~ 18:00) Nighttime class (18:00 ~ 22:00)
*Daytime classes take 2 months / Nighttime classes take 4 months, and the start date, duration, and time of training may vary depending on the training center.

Examination and presentation

After completing theory and practical training, you will be tested (there is a test every month)
The test results will be announced to each individual the next day.

Health checkup

Proceed at the affiliated hospital within 3 days after passing (test results take 3-5 days)


Application and issuance of qualifications

It takes 2-3 weeks after receiving the health certificate and related documents by mail from the National Institute of Health and Human Services.

Job Interview

Available immediately after confirmation of successful applicants

Recruitment confirmed within 2-4 weeks of notification of intent to hire
(After passing the qualification exam)

Notification of intent to hire within one week after interview

E-7 visa application is expected to take 1 month

Submission of employment reasons and employment contract, etc.

Confirmation of employment and commencement of work

Employment health checkup + submission of related documents
